In the fast-paced world of recurring revenue, what you don’t know can hurt you. A business was scaling its subscription-based offering but lacked clear visibility into performance. With fragmented reports and inconsistent definitions of core KPIs like MRR, NRR, and CAC, the leadership team struggled to tell a cohesive story to their board, much less to potential investors.
The Challenge: No Single Source of Truth for Growth and Retention
Despite a healthy stream of recurring income, the business had no unified view of how customer acquisition, retention, and expansion were really performing. Metrics such as Net Revenue Retention (NRR), Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), and Lifetime Value (LTV) were calculated manually, if at all, and reporting varied between teams. This made it difficult to benchmark performance, spot churn risks early, or demonstrate growth potential in a credible way to investors.

I designed and built an investor-ready dashboard focused on subscription economics, turning scattered data into a unified performance narrative.
